Many of you may know me from my first blog, ‘Treestand Book Reviews’ where I started way back in 2014 as a rookie book reviewer with a lifetime experience of exploring new worlds. Since then, I’ve spent nearly seven years venturing from the up-and-coming YA novels all the way to the epic tomes of Adult Fantasy.
After the events of the past two years, my mental health turned into a hiatus. It wasn’t from a lack of reading, even though I’ve been taking it ALOT easier (no more 400+ novels read in a year..). Instead, I wanted to make major changes to my reviewing experience and the content I was leaving into the world. There’s always been that nagging feeling of something missing in my hobby, and I wanted to use that hiatus to figure out just what the feeling was.
And I think I finally uncovered what I was looking for.. a fresh start.

After many months brainstorming, editing, and knit-picking, I’ve finally launched my new blogging experience!
Here, I hope to share so many more books, focusing mostly on a more ‘adult’ route as over the years, I’ve noticed a major switch in my reading habits. I feel this change aligns perfectly with what I’ve been missing all along.
It just feels right.
From a Galaxy Far, Far Away..
I am also so excited to announce I will have a HUGE focus on the vast world of ‘Star Wars!’
Over the last year, I’ve been exploring the in-depth views of this vast galaxy and the many characters involved. Currently, I’ve ventured into nearly 50 of the 200+ novels written through the Canon and Legend realms.
Now, I’m no expert, but I feel I have an acceptable, growing sense of the world, events, characters, and plot displayed through each novel, show, and movie I experience. I love putting the pieces together!
